Post subject: FREE ROGUE ELEMENT WARMUP @ DRIFT BAR IN PORTSMOUTH
To coincide with The Rogue Element @ Havana Bar on Saturday 13th December, We are throwing a massive free party at Drift's High Tide Lounge in Southsea and we will be showcasing some excellent local talent, as well as showing you good, good people, exactly what Infectious is all about!!
Joining the residents for a night of Broken Electro Tech Filth will be:
II TONE (Standard Audio, Dustedbreaks Records)
UDY (Kiss My Bass, UYN, Waster)
DJ LOOMSY (Sterns Reunion, Blast@Jongleurs)
II TONE:
Has been Producing Jungle, Drum'n'Bass and Bigbeat since the early 90s. IITones styles and tastes have seen rapid change and improvement. Infusing the raw, key elements of electronic music with the sharp, sleek, modernist edge of Techno, Dub and Breakbeat.
His love for punchy, rattling drums and seering, thundering basslines is the foundation for IITones sound, becoming more and more apparant in his latest works, yet IITones understanding of a well-balanced melody, twinned with a passion for experimentation and exploration in sound are the driving forces that allow him to set dancefloors and minds alight! Expect releases on Standard Audio, New label Dustedbreaks Records & the already hot property of Brighton Breaks in the near future.
UDY:
Is a DJ and producer based in sunny Portsmouth, UK. His style is dancefloor dirt with influences from electro, house, techno and breakbeat music. He is a fan of music in general, having been brought up listening to soul, rock, pop and disco music. Production wise Udy is starting to make ripples with his tracks and remixes been played out and about and the dancefloor responding well. His main project Under Your Nose (or UYN) has served as a launching pad for many local artists and he is looking to develop the idea into a full digital label in the near future. Stay tuned also for his Fat Loan E.P which is due for release on Dustedbreaks Records early next year.
DJ LOOMSY:
Has been a regular on the Scene for many years and was part of the original Sterns movement back in the 90's. He has just been given to opportunity to play at the Sterns reunion gigs on Hayling Island at the end of November and he can also be found Playing his mixture of Deep and Funky Electro House, fused with broken techno madness at Blast in Jongleurs.
All these top notch dj's, mixed with our regular residents Lee & Mark Martin, Dj Ignition & The Cubist, will make this a night not to forget!
